Clone swamp troopers or Kashyyyk troopers served as specialized scouts in the Grand Army of the Republic. These clone troopers wore a very similar design of armor to that worn by the clone scout troopers and the later one of the clone swamp trooper's predecessors, the Imperial scout troopers.

The troopers carried DC-15A blaster rifles, DC-15S blasters, sniper rifles, thermal detonators, auto turrets and blaster pistols. They would be assigned two vehicles: BARC speeders for mounted reconnaissance duty and AT-APs for attacking and defending. Using BARC speeders could make them look very similar to BARC troopers, some of which also wore a form of clone scout armor.
Clone swamp trooper training focused on wetland combat techniques, entailing maneuvers in deep mud or similarly treacherous terrain. They were known to have more stamina than the standard clone trooper. A unit of clone swamp troopers was in the 41st Elite Corps[1][2], led by Clone Commander Gree. They wore dull green colors while fighting in the Battle of Kashyyyk during the Clone Wars.
These clones were among the predecessors of the Imperial scout troopers and the Imperial swamp troopers.
